Mawjhai Amu FC reached the semi-finals for the first time after beating Da Abasin Sape by 1-0 earlier today in the fourth season of the Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) tournament.
The two teams didn’t disappoint fans and played an exciting game.
Amu started off aggressively and launched many attacks with several unsuccessful shots at goal.
Da Abasin Sape fought back later in the game but couldn’t open the score. The half time score was 0-0.
The second half of the game was played at a furious pace with both teams attacking their opponent’s goal.
Abasin had a great opportunity in the 51th minute to open the scoring after one of Amu’s players, Hedayatollah Ahmadi, was sent off after an illegal tackle.
Unfortunately Abasin’s effort was to no avail.
Amu scored the winning goal in the 70th minute to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
